Auto Content

A self-hosted tool a small team uses to manage its own social media accounts.

Auto Content is an internal application. It is not a public service and it is not offered for sale or sign-up. It is installed and run by one team on hardware that team controls, and it is used only by members of that team acting on accounts they already manage.

What it does

• Builds a library of the team's own video files, taken from local folders and from a Google Drive folder the team connects.
• Reads technical details of those videos — duration, dimensions, whether they carry audio — and generates a thumbnail so the team can tell files apart.
• Detects duplicate files so the same video is not published twice by accident.
• Schedules and publishes posts to the team's own Facebook Pages, YouTube channels and TikTok accounts, through the official APIs of those platforms.

What it does not do

• It does not use browser automation, unofficial clients, or any technique intended to disguise automated access.
• It does not store platform passwords. Access is granted only through each platform's official OAuth flow and can be withdrawn at any time.
• It does not interact with other people's content and it does not collect data about anyone outside the team.

Google data

When a team member connects a Google account, Auto Content requests read-only access to Google Drive so it can list and read the video files in a folder that member chooses, and basic profile information so the tool can show which account is connected. Details are in the privacy policy.
